Hikvision Network Video Recorders, or simply NVR's, come in three major performance levels. Value Series NVR's come with a built-in PoE switch making them virtually Plug&Play units when combined with compatible IP cameras, usually also Hikvision. This series fo NVR's supports recording resolution of up to 12MP, Ultra HD video output to the monitor via HDMI, latest H.265+ video compression codec and come in 4, 8, 16 and 32 channel versions. Smart Pro Series adds higher recording bandwidth, more storage capability and camera support from 16 to 156 inputs. Smart Pro series NVR's feature Hikvision's Smart Suite of analytics, video content analysis, Smart Search and Smart Playback. The most advance series is DeepinMind NVR's. They are equipped with a high speed GPU to process even more video data and analyze it. Advanced analytics allows NVR's to recognize human subjects, vehicles, animals, trees and changing lighting. This reduces storage needs and optimizes search and playback. Hot swap RAID technology is also incorporated.
